Hello Caroline,
I recently had a training class, at AT&T, with your dad and he shared with me your adventure. I thought what an awesome opportunity and even moreso I felt inspired. Possibly in the future, I too could make a journey such as this a reality. That said,I will be following your blog to hear all about your journey. Enjoy your year and safe traveling to the two of you!
I am sure he was distracting to be in class with

Your blog is absolutely inspiring! I’m a travel freak and I’m running my small travel biz which basically allows me to encourage others to make the decision to travel and see the world. I’ll definitely be following your journey through the world.
All the best and stay safe:)
Greetings!
Just started following your blog – and love it!
If you’re still searching for a place to go in November, I’d suggest Easter Island – there are direct flights from Lima several times a week. It’s the most “middle of nowhere” I’ve ever felt. The people are so friendly and there’s lots of trekking, biking, and spelunking to be done while admiring all the moai.
Thanks Carmela! Easter Island is definitely one of the top places I’d like to visit. We’ll see!
Beautiful blog and what a wonderful adventure!!! How about this cool youtube animated video… how can do one for myself??? Tks guys, have a safe trip!!!
If you have a Mac, you can use iMovie to create a spinning animated globe.
What a great trip you guys have planned! And more than half of it is over already, it seems…
How much did your around the world ticket cost? Maybe you have the link to the web site where you got it. I am always inspired to do a world trip and this seems exactly like what I had in mind!
I also think it’s awesome how you showed the corporate world the boot!
BTW, I wrote a travel confessions post.

Hey Laura, we actually got our tickets using frequent flier miles, so they were very inexpensive. It helped us make the decision to go.
Thanks for writing about your travel confession!
