RTW Itinerary

47 weeks. 17 countries. 2 Around The World Tickets.

Our current itinerary is flexible, and always changing, but should be pretty close to what we’ve outlined below. It allows us to hit some of the “world highlights” that we want to see including: Angkor Wat, a self-drive African safari, scuba diving in Indonesia, Lao New Year, Patagonia, Macchu Picchu, and the Galapagos Islands.

  1. Hello Caroline,
I recently had a training class, at AT&T, with your dad and he shared with me your adventure. I thought what an awesome opportunity and even moreso I felt inspired. Possibly in the future, I too could make a journey such as this a reality. That said,I will be following your blog to hear all about your journey. Enjoy your year and safe traveling to the two of you!

    • I am sure he was distracting to be in class with :) Thank you for following along – set a date and start planning your own – Dreaming is step 1 !

  2. Came across your blog this morning and got hooked ever since! :) )
Your blog is absolutely inspiring! I’m a travel freak and I’m running my small travel biz which basically allows me to encourage others to make the decision to travel and see the world. I’ll definitely be following your journey through the world.
All the best and stay safe:)

  3. Greetings!
Just started following your blog – and love it!

If you’re still searching for a place to go in November, I’d suggest Easter Island – there are direct flights from Lima several times a week. It’s the most “middle of nowhere” I’ve ever felt. The people are so friendly and there’s lots of trekking, biking, and spelunking to be done while admiring all the moai.

  4. Beautiful blog and what a wonderful adventure!!! How about this cool youtube animated video… how can do one for myself??? Tks guys, have a safe trip!!!

  5. What a great trip you guys have planned! And more than half of it is over already, it seems… :-(

How much did your around the world ticket cost? Maybe you have the link to the web site where you got it. I am always inspired to do a world trip and this seems exactly like what I had in mind!

I also think it’s awesome how you showed the corporate world the boot!
BTW, I wrote a travel confessions post.
